The weekend is finally here! And with the weekend comes the desire to relax, unwind, and maybe knock back a cocktail or two.
Trust me, I get it. Sometimes, for me, a good stiff drink is just what the doctor ordered. Other times, though, I like the idea of treating myself to a grown up beverage but don't actually want to down a boozy calorie-bomb and then feel its effects the next morning. That's why I put together this cocktail the other night.
Not too sweet, not too potent, it was perfect after a relaxing dinner at home. The kombucha balances out the Campari's grapefuit-y bitterness and the flavors are complex enough to allow for slow sipping. Try it before a meal! Bitter flavors are know for getting your digestive juices flowing and the kombucha's probiotics are wonderful for gut health.
