3/29/14: What a Lovely Week!

Just when I thought spring was a sure thing here in Portland, the clouds and rain returned.  I should have learned by now that weather here in the Pacific Northwest is just a tease in March!  At least now I know what I have to look forward to in April.  In the meantime, I found some things online that brightened my week while I waited for the sun to come back.  Enjoy!

These spring beauty upgrades from The Zoe Report made me want to get all girly.  I especially loved the Sonia Kashuk brushes in the list (above).  Could it be because they were among the most affordable?  Possibly, maybe.

During my last phone call with my coach, the beautiful Kerri, we decided that one of my goals for the next few weeks will be to begin a practice of morning meditation.  This primer on meditation from the Vegenista couldn't have come at a better time.  It is so down to earth and really breaks the process down into small, unintimidating bits.  If you've been wanting to get into a sitting practice but haven't quite made it happen, I suggest you give it a read!

These tips for becoming a more confident, inspiring woman from The Frisky Lemon are beautiful.  I especially love #1, 2, & 6.

Do you love wine?  Do you love saving money?  Then check out this post from Apartment Therapy on the best cheap wines at Trader Joe's.  I brought one of them to my friend's house for a party last night at it was pretty good!

Last but not least, I would love to have this bathing suit for my upcoming trip to Sedona.  Perfect for lazing by the pool and reading a book!

Have a beautiful week, lovelies!
